Storytelling Lab is a six-week, six-person online workshop dedicated to finding your voice.
This isn't a typical writing class. There are no critiques, no red pens, no rules about what good writing looks like. What there is: a small, intimate cohort of six people, and a process unlike anything you've tried before. You already know how to write. What you don't know is how to translate your life into a story. Each week brings a new, unexpected assignment designed to tap every aspect of your creative voice - from prose to pictures - until the story that's been waiting inside you finally finds its way out.
Every story you tell is powered by the same forces that drive every great film, novel, and memoir ever written. Storytelling Lab teaches you to recognize those forces in your own life and use them. Not to sound like a writer. To sound like yourself.

Each weekly session is two hours and is divided into two parts. The first half is a lively, interactive class where you'll learn practical storytelling techniques that help unlock your story. The second half is dedicated to writing time, so you'll put those ideas into practice immediately. You won't leave with homework you'll never do - you'll leave having already written.
