Bonnie’s love of stories is evident throughout her work, whether writing, painting or teaching.

Bonnie took up painting nearly a decade ago and drawn to portraiture. “I particularly love faces.

They’re a façade. A disguise we create to convey how we want to be perceived. They hide our

interior life and can easily misdirect us. In my paintings, I try to reveal the character’s inner life.

The story behind the mask, capturing attitude as much as their likeness.”

Her most recent work is a collection of iconic Hollywood images from films that helped shaped her creativity.
